It is often difficult for healthcare professionals to imagine what it actually means for their patients to be artificially fed. With my presentation, I enable them to change sides and experience first-hand what it is like to live with a feeding tube on a daily basis. I also show them what they can do for their patients to make this life situation and the path to it easier.
During the Q&A session that follows, people are welcome to poke (more 😉 ) holes in my belly. Something that is impossible in everyday professional life.
